KAI North Sumatra Regional Division I conducts track inspections ahead of Lebaran transport

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Divisi Regional I Sumatera Utara (Divre I Sumut) conducted inspection and maintenance of railway level crossings at Wesel 21A, Plasemen Station, Medan, on Friday (6 March). The inspections were carried out in preparation for the Lebaran Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah transportation period. During the checks, a crossing that was not geometrically compliant was found, necessitating ballast stone compaction and breaking using a hand tie tamper or portable rail tamping equipment.
