JAKARTA - KAI Logistik has once again affirmed its role in supporting public needs during the mudik and return periods for Eid al-Fitr 2026. During the mudik flow from 10 to 17 March 2026 and the return flow from 25 to 31 March 2026, KAI Logistik carried approximately 3,133 tons of goods across a total of 144,342 packages. VP of Corporate Secretary at KAI Logistik, Dwi Wulandari, said the most shipped commodities during this period consisted of packages, pets, and motorcycles. “This increase is tangible proof of the growing public trust in KAI Logistik’s services in supporting needs during a very important moment for Indonesian families,” Dwi stated in a press release on Thursday (2/4/2026). The pet shipment service saw the highest growth segment. KAI Logistik recorded a 70% increase in pet shipments, from 4,182 animals in 2025 to 7,144 in 2026. According to Dwi, this rise shows increasing customer confidence in KAI Logistik’s pet shipment services, which prioritise animal welfare, safety, and comfort during transit. Meanwhile, motorcycle shipment services grew by 22%. This service is described as a convenient and safe solution for the public to support post-mudik mobility and is equipped with protection guarantees through insurance. “Ahead of Eid al-Fitr, we encourage the public through the ‘Ship First, Mudik Comfortably’ campaign, which allows customers to send all their Lebaran needs to their hometowns before departure time. Thus, the public can undertake their mudik journey more calmly and comfortably, whether for package, motorcycle, or pet shipments,” she added. Furthermore, Dwi noted that the company is also promoting the shift to digital shipment services via the KAI Logistik TRAX app to provide ease, speed, and comfort in every service process. “KAI Logistik is committed to continuously delivering services that are responsive to customer needs, while contributing to the success of public mobility during every important moment,” Dwi explained.
