KAI Logistics Successfully Transports 3,133 Tonnes of Goods During Eid al-Fitr 2026 Period
Through reliable and integrated logistics services, KAI Logistics (Kalog) supported community needs by distributing goods, motorcycles, and pets to ensure safe and timely arrival at hometowns or destinations during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr mudik and return periods. Recorded for the mudik flow from 10 to 17 March 2026 and the return flow from 25 to 31 March 2026, Kalog successfully transported around 3,133 tonnes across 144,342 packages. In terms of volume, this achievement recorded a significant 50% increase compared to the same period in the 2025 Eid al-Fitr mudik and return operations. “This increase reflects the growing public need for fast, safe, and reliable logistics services, while also showing that the company is increasingly becoming the choice for people’s lifestyles, especially in supporting mobility and distribution needs during strategic moments like Eid al-Fitr,” explained Kalog’s VP of Corporate Secretary, Dwi Wulandari, on Monday (6/4). According to Dwi, during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr mudik and return periods, the most shipped commodities included 127,328 packages, followed by 7,144 pets, and 6,786 motorcycles. This increase provides concrete evidence of the growing public trust in Kalog’s services in supporting needs during a very important moment for Indonesian families. “The most significant increase was recorded in pet shipment services, which grew by 70%, from 4,182 pets in 2025 to 7,144 in 2026. This rise shows increasing customer trust in pet shipment services, which prioritise animal welfare, safety, and comfort during the journey,” she stated. Meanwhile, Dwi continued, package shipment services also experienced a 66% increase, in line with rising demand for UMKM products as well as public needs to send gifts, Lebaran essentials, and personal items to families in various regions. Motorcycle shipment services also grew by 22%, providing a comfortable and safe solution for the public in supporting mobility after the mudik period and equipped with protection guarantees through insurance. “Ahead of Eid al-Fitr, we encouraged the public through the ‘Kirim Dulu, Mudik Nyaman’ campaign, which allows customers to send all Lebaran needs to their hometowns before departure time. Thus, the public can undertake mudik journeys more calmly and comfortably, whether for package, motorcycle, or pet shipments,” she emphasised. In addition, Dwi said, the company continues to promote the shift to digital shipment services through the Kalog TRAX app, to provide ease, speed, and comfort in every service process. This momentum further strengthens the company’s position as a trusted logistics partner for the public, not only in daily activities but also during national strategic moments that require reliable distribution services. “We are committed to continuing to deliver services that are responsive to customer needs, while contributing to the success of public mobility during every important moment,” she added.
