KAI Jakarta Records Sale of 20,000 Promotional Tickets with 20% Discount

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 1 Jakarta has recorded 20,314 tickets sold with a 20% discount promotion for departures from 25 March to 1 April 2026.

Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, stated in Jakarta on Friday that the “Promo Silaturahmi” discount fare is available for 61 train journeys departing from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station.

“The 20% Silaturahmi promotion discount applies to executive class. The discounted fare does not apply to suite class compartments, luxury, priority, imperial, panoramic trains, or other tourist trains,” he said.

Meanwhile, during the 2026 Lebaran transport period, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta is providing 1,083,623 seats. Of this number, the number of passengers who have purchased and booked tickets for the period from 11 March to 1 April 2026 is recorded at 895,617 tickets.

The cumulative number of departing passengers for the period from 11 to 27 March 2026 is 778,173 people.

“As of 27 March 2026, the departure volume for Daop 1 is 32,700 passengers, while the arrival volume for Daop 1 is 52,587 passengers,” said Franoto.

KAI urges prospective passengers to arrive at the station 30-60 minutes before the train departure.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta also records 168,816 seats still available for departures during the period from 27 March to 1 April 2026, which is still within the Lebaran transport period.

The available tickets are in various service classes, including 101,698 executive class seats, 58,725 commercial economy seats, and 8,393 PSO economy seats.
