KAI Jakarta: 160,000 Return Journey Train Tickets for Eid Still Available

The available tickets span various service classes, including 101,698 seats in executive class, 58,725 seats in commercial economy, and 8,393 seats in PSO economy.

Additionally, to increase public interest, KAI is introducing the Silaturahmi Promotion, offering discounts of up to 20% on executive class tickets for departures from 25 March to 1 April 2026.

The promotion is available on 61 train journeys from Gambir and Pasar Senen Stations. This allows the public to enjoy a more economical and comfortable journey. Based on KAI data, 5,378 people have utilised the promotion.

Meanwhile, the volume of departing passengers during the return journey period tends to be more gradual compared to the outbound journey.

On Friday, the number of departing passengers was recorded at 31,683 people, and it is predicted to continue moving dynamically until 1 April 2026.

Based on KAI data as of 27 March 2026 at 09:00 WIB, the total seating capacity for long-distance trains during the Eid Transport Period (11 March–1 April 2026) reaches 1,083,674 seats, with an average occupancy rate of 81%.
