KAI Daop IV Semarang: Tens of Thousands of Tickets to Jakarta Still Available

Semarang (ANTARA) - PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang has recorded 22,079 tickets still available for the Lebaran return flow from various stations in the region to Jakarta for departures up to 1 April 2026. “The number of available seats is dynamic and can change at any time, in line with the high public interest in travelling for the return flow using trains,” said PT KAI Daop 4 Public Relations Manager Luqman Arif in Semarang on Monday. In addition to Jakarta, he said, tickets for KA departures to Surabaya are also plentiful, with 37,845 seats available. Meanwhile, the availability of tickets for KA to Bandung, he continued, only leaves 1,450 seats for the same departure period. According to him, the public returning to their workplaces after Lebaran need not worry because travel tickets are still sufficiently available. “Prospective passengers can prepare their travel plans with the ticket availability during the Lebaran return flow,” he said. Meanwhile, the number of passengers departing from various stations in Daop Semarang to various destinations on H+1 Lebaran, he said, has already shown an increase. On this Monday, he continued, 34,771 passengers were recorded departing from various stations in the Daop Semarang region. This number is up from Sunday (22/3), which recorded 33,771 passengers. He urged passengers to arrive early at the station to avoid missing their train journeys.
