Kediri (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 7 Madiun, East Java, has warned the public, particularly job seekers, to be vigilant against various fraudulent modes operating under the guise of the KAI employee recruitment process.

Tohari, the Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 7 Madiun, stated that the entire KAI recruitment process is conducted transparently, accountably, and based on competence, with no fees charged.

“We urge the public not to trust individuals or parties who promise guaranteed passing results under the pretext of being able to insert someone as a KAI employee,” Tohari said in Kediri on Tuesday.

KAI, he added, does not accept physical application files sent via post or through any agencies outside the provisions listed on the official recruitment website.

Tohari explained that the KAI recruitment selection stages include administrative selection, initial health tests, psychological tests, interviews, final health tests, and finally, education and training (diklat). All stages are clearly scheduled.

The results of each selection stage are also announced through each participant’s individual account on the official KAI recruitment website.

He requested that the public remain cautious if they receive offers of passing results in exchange for money, facilities, or certain prizes. The recruitment process involves no costs.

“The KAI recruitment process does not involve any fees. There is no obligation to pay down payments, administrative fees, or reimbursement for accommodation and transport costs to the recruitment organisers,” he said.

KAI also warned the public against fraudulent methods where prospective participants are asked to book transport tickets or hotels through specific travel agents under the pretext of being part of the recruitment stages.

Tohari emphasised that the public should not follow such instructions before verifying the truth of the information through official KAI channels.

KAI encourages the public who receive or find suspicious information regarding recruitment to confirm it with the company through official channels and to help spread this information to ensure no job seekers fall victim to scams.
