KAI Daop 7 Madiun Distributes Rp123.126 Million in Social Responsibility Funds
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 7 Madiun has distributed Rp123.126 million in corporate social responsibility (TJSL) and community development funds to several beneficiary institutions within its operational area.
Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 7 Madiun, Tohari, stated that this TJSL programme is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. “We are committed not only to focusing on railway operations and business services but also to providing tangible benefits and a sustainable positive impact for the community,” he said in Madiun on Thursday.
He explained that the funds were allocated across several sectors, including infrastructure, education, cultural preservation, and disability support. The distribution details include Rp49.2 million for the construction of a dormitory at a disability orphanage in Karangrejo Village, Wungu District, Madiun Regency. A further Rp25.7 million was provided for Reog Ponorogo traditional art equipment in Sukosari Urban Village, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City. Additionally, Rp13.2 million was allocated for the procurement and renewal of pencak silat training equipment, and Rp35.026 million was directed towards educational assistance for the renovation of Klagenserut Kindergarten in Jiwan District, Madiun Regency.
“The distribution of this TJSL assistance not only focuses on improving educational facilities and public infrastructure but also actively supports the preservation of traditional arts as an ancestral cultural heritage that must be safeguarded together,” he said.
Tohari added that throughout the first half of 2026, KAI Daop 7 Madiun has distributed a total of Rp461.771 million in TJSL assistance across various sectors within its operational area. Through these various assistance programmes, PT KAI Daop 7 Madiun hopes to continuously support the improvement of community quality of life, educational advancement, and the preservation of national culture.
