KAI Daop 6 Yogyakarta adds 12 trains for smooth Lebaran 2026 transport operations

KAI Daop 6 Yogyakarta is operating 12 additional trains to support the smooth operation of Lebaran 2026 transport services, which will run for 22 days from 11 March to 1 April. Passengers waiting for the arrival of long-distance trains were observed at Lempuyangan Station in Yogyakarta on Saturday, 14 March 2026. The addition of these trains is part of KAI’s broader effort to accommodate the surge in passenger demand during the Lebaran holiday period, one of the most significant travel seasons in Indonesia.
