KAI Daop 3 Cirebon Services Motis Programme, Here is the Schedule
PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daerah Operasi (Daop) 3 Cirebon is prepared to service the Motis Angkutan Lebaran 2026 Programme (Free Motor Transport for Eid 2026).
The Motis Angkutan Lebaran 2026 programme, organised by the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) under the Ministry of Transportation, opened registrations beginning Sunday, 1 March through 29 March 2026. The programme will operate during the exodus period on 13-19 March 2026 and the return period on 24-30 March 2026.
“Daop 3 Cirebon will service Motis Tengah on the Kampungbandan–Lempuyangan route (two return trips) and Motis Utara on the Kampungbandan-Cepu route (return trip). Both will stop at Cirebon Prujakan Station,” stated Muhibbuddin, Public Relations Manager of Daop 3 Cirebon, on Monday (2 March).
He explained that the Motis programme represents one of the government’s efforts to support smooth Eid exodus operations, reduce traffic congestion on roads, and improve the safety of motorcycle travellers. Daop 3 Cirebon will provide full support for the smooth implementation of the Motis programme in its region.
“Travellers’ motorcycles will be transported using railway freight cars, whilst their owners can enjoy their journey on economical passenger trains that are safer and more comfortable,” he added.
Participant Requirements
By participating in this programme, the public can continue using motorcycles in their home villages without having to travel long distances, which naturally poses safety risks.
“Daop 3 Cirebon is ready to provide full support for the smooth implementation of the Motis programme in the Daop 3 region,” said Muhibbuddin.
He therefore encouraged the public to utilise the Motis programme as a safer, more comfortable, and efficient exodus solution.
“The registration requirements for Motis stipulate that participants must not be registered or participating in any other free exodus programmes organised by any party,” he stated.
Other requirements include that travellers who have registered with the Motis programme must participate, and if they withdraw or cancel, they cannot participate in the programme in subsequent years. Additionally, Motis participants must possess a national identification card (KTP), family card (Kartu Keluarga), Class C driving licence, and a motorcycle with a maximum engine capacity of 200 cc.
One motorcycle can be facilitated for the purchase of two passenger tickets and one infant ticket (for children under 3 years old), with the requirement that railway tickets for Motis participants must be purchased under the name of the registered Motis participant, the second passenger must be listed in the family card of the registered participant, purchased tickets cannot be cancelled, schedules cannot be changed, and passenger names cannot be modified.
