KAI Continues to Cancel Several Train Schedules from Gambir & Pasar Senen Today, Check the List
Jakarta – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta has announced that, as of Wednesday, 29 April 2026, several train journeys from the Daop 1 Jakarta region remain cancelled. This is part of the adjustment to normalise train consists following previous travel disruptions.
Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, extended apologies to all customers for the inconvenience caused.
“KAI Daop 1 Jakarta apologises for the continued cancellation of several train journeys today. This is part of efforts to normalise train consists to ensure subsequent train services operate on time, safely, and smoothly,” said Franoto in his statement on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.
The following is the list of train journeys cancelled on 29 April 2026:
Departures from Pasar Senen Station:
KA Brantas (Pasar Senen – Blitar) Departure Time 14.10 WIB
KA Jayakarta (Pasar Senen – Surabaya Gubeng) Departure Time 17.10 WIB
KA Majapahit (Pasar Senen – Malang) Departure Time 17.40 WIB
KA Bogowonto (Pasar Senen – Lempuyangan) Departure Time 18.10 WIB
KA Bangunkarta (Pasar Senen – Jombang) Departure Time 12.25 WIB
Departures from Gambir Station:
KA Parahyangan (Gambir – Bandung) Departure Time 07.30 WIB
KA Tambahan (Gambir – Yogyakarta) Departure Time 17.15 WIB
KA Purwojaya (Gambir – Cilacap) Departure Time 07.00 WIB
As a form of responsibility to customers, KAI is providing a 100 percent ticket refund for all affected passengers for up to seven days from the scheduled departure date on their tickets.
Additionally, customers are given the option to reschedule or switch to other available train services.
“We ensure that all customers affected by the cancellations will receive full refunds or be facilitated to use other KA journeys according to availability,” said Franoto.
He added that KAI Daop 1 Jakarta will continue to work on gradually normalising train operations, prioritising safety and customer service aspects.
“KAI Daop 1 Jakarta thanks customers for their understanding and trust and hopes that operational conditions can return to normal soon,” he stated.
