PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) states that all long-distance train (KAJJ) services have returned to normal operation. Previously, long-distance train services were disrupted due to a collision between a KA and a KRL at Bekasi Timur Station.

“Up to today, Thursday (30/4), all long-distance train services have operated normally without any cancellations,” said KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba, as reported by Antara on Thursday (30/4/2026).

She explained that the service recovery process is ongoing and showing positive progress. KAI continues to ensure that services can run smoothly while fulfilling customer rights.

KAI also extends apologies for the inconvenience experienced by customers. In the recovery process, Anne also requests understanding if journeys still experience delays.

“KAI continues to strive for services to run smoothly and for customer rights to be fulfilled,” said Anne.

In line with the on-site handling process, KAI also provides updates on the handling of customers’ lost belongings. As of 30 April 2026 at 08:30 WIB, 85 items have been found. Of that number, 38 items have been handed over to their owners, while the remaining 47 are still in the process of being returned.

The items found by evacuation officers on the Commuter Line No 5568A series have been handed over to passenger service officers at Bekasi Timur Station for recording and safekeeping.

KAI urges users, families, or relatives who feel they have lost items to come directly to Bekasi Timur Station and contact the Lost and Found service for the retrieval process.

KAI ensures that every stage of recovery is carried out carefully and measured so that train journeys can operate safely.
