KAI Completes Payment of Rp22.55 Billion Bond Interest on Time

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), or KAI, has formally reported the fulfilment of its financial obligations on the company’s debt instruments. In its official report to the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the company stated that it had completed payment of bond interest totalling billions of rupiah.

According to the official statement, KAI has deposited funds amounting to Rp22,550,000,000 (twenty-two billion five hundred fifty million rupiah). These funds have been allocated for the payment of interest on KAI’s Obligasi II Kereta Api Indonesia Tahap II 2019 Series B, Issue 25.

The payment executed on 12 March 2026 was carried out following a letter from PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) dated 27 February 2026 regarding a request for interest funds.

“We hereby confirm that PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has made the bond interest payment on 12 March 2026,” wrote Wisnu Pramudyo, Executive Vice President of Corporate Secretary of KAI, in his written report.
