KAI Commuter Offers 100% Refunds Following Tangerang Commuter Line Disruption
TANGERANG - Passengers affected by disruptions on the Duri-Tangerang Commuter Line can apply for a full refund from KAI Commuter.
‘Passengers of Commuter Line Basoetta who wish to cancel their journey due to significant delays will receive a 100% fare refund,’ said KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan in a written statement on Tuesday (26 May 2026).
Leza stated that affected passengers can apply for refunds through staff at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Commuter Line stations. Staff then transferred passengers to Rawa Buaya Station using alternative trains. Meanwhile, affected passengers were redirected to subsequent services at Bojong Indah Station.
As a result of the disruption, three Tangerang Commuter Line services and four Soekarno-Hatta Airport Commuter Line services experienced delays. Additionally, two Tangerang Commuter Line services were canceled.
Although temporarily disrupted, operations on the Duri-Tangerang Commuter Line and Soekarno-Hatta Airport Commuter Line have now returned to normal. KAI Commuter also apologised for the delays and cancellations.
‘KAI Commuter apologises for the travel delays and inconvenience caused by this issue,’ Leza said.
