PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta has announced the cancellation of several long-distance train journeys (KAJJ) from its operational area until Wednesday (29/4/2026). Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, stated that this is a consequence of adjustments to normalise train sets following the train accident at Bekasi Timur Station. “KAI Daop 1 Jakarta apologises for the continued cancellation of several train journeys today. This is part of the effort to normalise train sets to ensure subsequent train services run on time, safely, and smoothly,” Franoto said in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (29/4/2026). As a form of responsibility to customers, Franoto added, KAI is providing a 100 percent ticket refund for all affected customers until seven days from the scheduled departure time on the ticket.
