KAI 2026 Job Vacancies Open: Schedule, Requirements, and Application Process
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), in conjunction with KAI Group, is opening its 2026 External Recruitment for graduates of secondary school (SLTA), Diploma 3 (D3), and Diploma 4/Bachelor’s degrees (D4/S1). Account registration begins on 4 September, while the application submission period is scheduled from 7 to 10 September 202<0xE2><0x80><0x89>6.
The recruitment aims to meet human resource requirements across various sectors, including operations, rolling stock and infrastructure maintenance, services, healthcare, administration, logistics, and legal affairs.
KAI Group has also introduced an integrated recruitment portal via karier.kai.id. This portal serves as the primary channel for accessing vacancy information, creating accounts, selecting positions, submitting applications, and participating in the selection stages.
KAI 2026 Vacancy Formations
For secondary school graduates, available positions include Conductor, Train Driver, and Rolling Stock and Infrastructure Maintenance.
Meanwhile, D3 graduates can choose from several positions, such as Conductor, Train Driver, Assistant PPKA, KPJR Operator, Rolling Stock and Infrastructure Maintenance, Paramedic, and Administration.
As for D4/S1 graduates, they may participate in the selection for Legal Administration, Logistics and Building Staff, as well as Negative Check Sintelis and Facilities Officers.
Each formation has different requirements; therefore, applicants must carefully review educational qualifications and other provisions before selecting a position.
Account creation or registration for recruitment opens on 4 September 2026. Once an account is created, applicants can submit their applications and select their preferred positions between 7 and 10 September 2026.

Registration is conducted online through the official portal at karier.kai.id.
The application steps are as follows:
Access the KAI Group recruitment portal.
Select the ‘Register Now’ menu.
Enter an active email address.
Create a password of at least 1-4 characters consisting of capital letters, numbers, and symbols.
Select ‘Create Account’.
Complete verification using the code sent to your email.
Log back in using the newly created account.
Complete personal details and upload required documents.
Select a formation according to your qualifications.
Submit the application during the period of 7–10 September 2026.
