Kaesang Visits Fathul Ma'ani Islamic Boarding School, Conducts Quiz with Students
PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep continued his first day of Ramadan Safari by visiting Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ma’ani in Pandeglang Regency, Banten, on Thursday (26 February). Upon arrival at the boarding school, Kaesang interacted with the students and conducted Ramadan-themed quizzes with prizes. “I’d like to do some guessing games with prizes. Would you like to?” Kaesang said, greeted with enthusiastic responses from the students.
The students answered the quizzes with enthusiasm, ranging from Qur’anic memorisation to general knowledge questions. Kaesang was accompanied by PSI Daily Chairman Ahmad Ali and several other senior party officials. The Ramadan Safari is being conducted simultaneously by PSI representatives across various regions, with regional and district branches conducting courtesy visits to boarding schools throughout Indonesia.
The Ramadan Safari serves as an important opportunity to strengthen ties with Islamic boarding schools across the country. The visits are conducted as a show of respect to Islamic teachers, Islamic leaders, and scholars who have long been guardians of the nation’s moral values. “Politics is not merely a matter of strategy and power, but also about mental resilience and clarity of heart,” said Ahmad Ali.
The activity marks the beginning of the PSI Ramadan Safari campaign whilst strengthening organisational consolidation and party cadre engagement with communities.
