Kaesang Visits Al Falah Ploso Pesantren, Receives Blessing from KH Nurul Huda
Kediri – Kaesang Pangarep, General Chairman of the PSI central board, continued his Ramadan safari across East Java. On this occasion, Kaesang visited Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah Ploso in Kediri.
Kaesang’s arrival was warmly welcomed by the head of Al Falah sub-pesantren, Muhammad Abdurrahman Al Kautsar, commonly known as Gus Kautsar. The meeting took place in a cordial and familial atmosphere.
Shortly afterwards, Gus Kautsar invited Kaesang, PSI Daily Chairman Ahmad Ali, and representatives from the East Java regional and district boards to meet with his father, KH Nurul Huda Djazuli Ustman.
Before the gathered delegation, prayers were offered. “Thank you Kaesang for visiting. We pray that you will succeed,” said KH Nurul Huda Djazuli, as reported on Monday, 2 March 2026.
This occasion formed an important part of PSI’s Ramadan safari programme, which has recently intensified its outreach to pesantren communities and Islamic scholars.
Following the communal prayers, the delegation continued with an iftar (breaking of the fast) together. A roasted lamb dish was served, adding warmth to the atmosphere of togetherness within the pesantren community.
The event was also attended by Kediri Mayor Vinanda Prameswari and Surabaya Regional Police Commander Senior Commissioner Luthfi Sulistiawan.
The Ramadan safari was conducted simultaneously by PSI representatives across various regions on Java. From regional board, district board, to central board levels, members of the rose-emblemed party conducted courtesy visits to Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia as part of strengthening communication and consolidation during the holy month.
