Bandar Lampung, VIVA – Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Kaesang Pangarep, has once again emphasised the direction of his party’s politics.

Kaesang urged PSI not to proceed alone. Instead, he opened opportunities for cooperation with other political parties to bolster the party’s position in the regions.

He expressed this in front of cadres while attending the Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorwil) and the inauguration of the Lampung Provincial Board (DPW) PSI executives at the Emersia Hotel, Sunday, 19 April 2026.

“So we work hard, we stand side by side, just collaborate with the parties here, the Governor’s party, the Gerindra Party. We can also invite collaboration with the Golkar Party here,” said Kaesang Pangarep, quoted on Monday, 20 April 2026.

The youngest son of Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also entrusted an important message to all PSI cadres in Lampung to maintain the trust and good name of the party.

“I entrust PSI in Lampung Province to you gentlemen and ladies here,” said Kaesang.

Not only about collaboration, Kaesang also reminded of the tough political dynamics ahead. He asked all cadres to prepare to face contests, including the 2029 Elections, which is PSI’s major target.

“Our goal in growing the Indonesian Solidarity Party is for the good of Indonesian society,” stated Kaesang.

Previously reported, PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep attended the Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorwil) held at the Emersia Hotel in Bandar Lampung.

He arrived in Lampung on Sunday, 19 April 2026. The youngest son of Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo was welcomed by central to regional executives. The Lampung PSI Provincial Board claimed to be ready to strengthen the party’s structure down to the lowest level, including villages and polling stations (TPS).

Chairman of the Lampung PSI Provincial Board, Achmad Ridho Julian, stated that almost all executives would attend the event.

“For the attendance of executives, God willing, almost all executives will attend. Except for a few who are unable to. With this Rakorwil, we prove that Lampung is the elephant’s lair,” said Ridho.
