Kaesang Receives Special Meal from Leader of Nurul Qadim Islamic Boarding School During Maghrib Visit
Probolinggo – The Ramadan safari of PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep continues. After visiting several Islamic boarding schools the previous day, the youngest son of Indonesia’s seventh President Joko Widodo has now travelled to East Java.
On Saturday, 28 February, Kaesang arrived at Nurul Qadim Islamic Boarding School in Probolinggo. The timing of his arrival coincided with the period for breaking the fast.
At the location, Kaesang was welcomed directly by the school’s leader, KH. Abdul Hadi Noer, along with local clerics and Islamic scholars. A warm atmosphere was evident from the start of the meeting. Beyond merely conversing, Kaesang also received a special treat. He was served warm satay to break his fast.
“Alhamdulillah, he has broken his fast here. I prepared satay to give him spirit, to keep it warm. Please excuse us if our preparations are not perfect,” said KH. Abdul Hadi Noer.
Kaesang reciprocated this warmth with words of gratitude. He described the welcome he received as truly extraordinary.
“Thank you, Pak kyai, we from the Indonesian Solidarity Party have been received at Nurul Qadim boarding school, thank you for the truly extraordinary welcome you have given us,” said Kaesang.
During the visit, Kaesang was accompanied by PSI Deputy Chairman Ahmad Ali, other members of the party’s central board, and East Java PSI officials.
This Ramadan safari is being conducted simultaneously by PSI officials in various regions. From provincial to district and central levels, all party cadres are personally conducting fraternal visits to Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia.
This initiative is part of PSI’s effort to strengthen communication with Islamic boarding school communities during the holy month of Ramadan.
