Anindya claimed to have proposed to the government several relaxations for entrepreneurs who are under pressure due to geopolitical turmoil.

“This morning we also met with DEN Chairman Mr Luhut,” said Anindya during the Kadin Indonesia Trade Sector National Coordination Meeting at Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, on Thursday.

The impact of the war in West Asia (Middle East) has left laying hens stressed and overshadowed by fear.

Kadin Indonesia is requesting the government to provide several concessions, one of which is credit relaxation.

“Pay the interest first but the principal gradually,” Anindya stated.

Additionally, concessions to allow companies to export by utilising the momentum of rising prices for several commodities up to the re-regulation of limited export bans (Lartas).

“This is, so to speak, to give breathing room to all these laying hens,” Anindya remarked.

Meanwhile, from Kadin, efforts will be made to secure investments, whether large or small.

“Nevertheless, we understand the needs for whatever regional funding, especially now, but for the arrangement from the side of additional financing,” Anindya said.

As is known, the war between Israel and the United States (US) against Iran has been ongoing since 28 February.

That warfare has closed the Strait of Hormuz, which is the main route for world oil distribution from Gulf countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Iran.
