Kadin Encourages Strengthening of Investment Cooperation
This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) for Multilateral Diplomacy, Andi Anzhar Cakra Wijaya, in a statement on Friday, 15 May 2026.
Andi Anzhar said that in its implementation, Kadin Indonesia prioritises an inclusive, sustainable, and mutually beneficial regional growth approach between partner countries.
“Especially in the ASEAN, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and other strategic regions,” said Andi Anzhar.
According to Andi Anzhar, through multilateral economic diplomacy, Kadin Indonesia seeks to build stronger connectivity between Indonesian businesses and international partners.
This also opens up market access, technology transfer, strengthens industrial supply chains, and increases investment that can create added value for the national and regional economies.
This approach not only aims to increase the volume of trade and investment. But also encourages equitable regional economic growth, job creation, development of downstream industries, and increased competitiveness of Indonesian human resources.
Kadin Indonesia also believes that regional stability, cross-country collaboration, and synergy between the government, the business world, and international institutions are important factors in creating a conducive and resilient economic ecosystem in the face of geopolitical challenges and global economic uncertainty.
In the future, Kadin Indonesia hopes that multilateral cooperation can become a major instrument in strengthening regional economic growth, expanding business opportunities for national industrial players.
“Also making Indonesia a strategic centre for economic and trade growth in the region and at the global level,” concluded Andi Anzhar.
