Jakarta (ANTARA) - The General Chair of the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Diana Dewi, shared one of the keys to success in careers, particularly for women, including those involved in the economic field. “As a woman and business actor, I encourage how Jakarta’s economic productivity can be more productive. This small thing that is usually forgotten is discipline,” she said during a podcast held by the DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Office on Tuesday. Diana, in the podcast presented to coincide with Kartini Day commemorations, stated that discipline in time management can be an initial step that will lead someone to their goals. “Time discipline is considered not fundamental. But to become the initial step, to become great. If oneself is already disciplined, then the direction of our goals, God willing, can be achieved,” she said. For Diana, the presence of women today is not as a complement, but as a driver, including in Jakarta’s economic productivity. Unlike in the past, women today have opportunities to be productive without forgetting their nature. “Women have limitations. But with the current conditions, we must have strategies to face these limitations, especially in competing. How can we adapt? By having a good plan, organised,” she explained. On that occasion, M. Tsani, Head of the Regional Productivity Development Centre (P3D) of the DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Office, hoped for more productive women in the future. “So that our country will also advance further and can realise the vision of becoming Golden Indonesia in 2045. I think it’s not excessive if we need more female entrepreneurs who can drive the community’s economy,” he said.
