KA Pandanwangi Serves 24,430 Passengers During Eid al-Adha and Pancasila Day Long Weekend

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded that during the long weekend from 26 May to 1 June 2026, the KA Pandanwangi service, operating on the Jember – Ketapang route (return), successfully served 24,430 passengers. This figure underscores the vital role of KA Pandanwangi as one of the most favoured local transport modes in accommodating high mobility between regencies in the eastern tip of Java.

The operations of KA Pandanwangi are designed to support both daily productivity and regional tourism. Covering a distance of 112 km in approximately 2.5 hours with a frequency of two round trips per day, this economy-class train offers highly affordable fares of just Rp8,000 per trip. The combination of economical pricing and consistent travel comfort makes this train a primary choice for students, workers, and domestic tourists.

The route traversed by KA Pandanwangi connects key destinations in the region, including Jember Station, Kalisat Station, Kalibaru Station, Kalisetail Station, Temuguruh Station, Rogojampi Station, Banyuwangi Kota Station, and terminates at Ketapang Station.
