KA Blora Jaya Passenger Numbers Rise 72.76%, Reaching 53,826 in Early 2026

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded an increase in customers on the KA Blora Jaya service on the Cepu–Semarang return route for the period January to March 2026, with 53,826 customers. This figure represents a 72.76% increase compared to the same period in 2025, which had 31,158 customers. This growth aligns with the continuously increasing mobility needs of society. With fares around Rp 65,000, KA Blora Jaya provides a lighter travel option for many people. “This service is present close to the daily lives of the community. Every journey carries different purposes. Some depart for work, pursuing education, or seeking better opportunities in the city,” said Anne in an official statement on Friday (17/4/2026). Anne stated that along its route, KA Blora Jaya connects areas such as Cepu, Randublatung, Doplang, Kradenan, Jambon, Ngrombo, up to Semarang Poncol and Semarang Tawang. “One point with its own story is Wadu Station. This station is located in an area far from public transport access,” she said. “In this place, KA Blora Jaya is the only train that stops to serve passenger boarding and alighting,” Anne revealed.
