Jusuf Kalla Reports Rismon and YouTube Accounts Suspected of Spreading Hoaxes to Bareskrim
Jakarta, VIVA – The 10th and 12th Vice President of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla, through his legal representative, has also reported the owner and a YouTube account suspected of spreading false news or hoaxes following Rismon Sianipar’s claim of being a funder in the case of the fake diploma of the 7th President Joko Widodo. This report was submitted to Bareskrim Polri on Monday, 6 April 2026.
“So, besides Rismon, there are about four (being reported). So there is the YouTube owner and there is the YouTuber and the source,” said Jusuf Kalla’s legal representative, Abdul Haji Talaohu, at Bareskrim Polri on Monday, 6 April 2026.
Abdul further explained that in his statement, Rismon is alleged to have claimed that Jusuf Kalla gave Rp5 billion to Roy Suryo and associates.
“He made statements, one of which mentioned that behind the movement questioning Mr Jokowi’s diploma, there are elite officials. And there he mentioned that Mr JK gave or handed over money to, if not mistaken, Roy and associates amounting to Rp5 billion and he witnessed it,” Abdul revealed.
“That’s why we made this report today as a serious step to respond and demand clarification and accountability from him,” he clarified.
This statement was then echoed by several YouTube accounts, so Abdul considers this to be suspected as the dissemination of false news or hoaxes.
“Rismon’s statement was welcomed by YouTubers who, according to our analysis, are still affiliated with Solo. For example, the YouTuber Nusantara, this YouTuber’s owner of ‘Ruang Konsensus’, Budhius M. Piliang, featured Mardiansyah Semar, Chairman of Rampai Nusantara,” he said.
“In the YouTube statement, Mardiansyah conveyed that Mr JK no longer has the capacity, still has an irrational instinct for power. Yes, there are sentences accusing Mr JK of being a loser, so to speak, thus his movement leads to unconstitutionality. This is hoax news, false news that also needs to be tested,” he explained.
Furthermore, there is also an allegation of disseminating false news by the owner of the YouTube channel ‘Musik Ciamis’ who also spread the statement or claim allegedly made by Rismon.
“In addition, there is also the ‘Mosato TV’ channel, owned by Lorensius Irjan Buu. In that channel, he wrote ‘JK Dragged into Criminal Provocation’, the question is ‘Treason?’. There is a very fatal sentence from him because there is a statement ‘Indication of hypocrisy, praises Prabowo but wants to commit treason’,” Abdul explained.
