Jusuf Kalla Accompanied by Son Solihin Kalla Meets Prabowo at Palace

Indonesia’s 10th and 12th Vice President, Jusuf Kalla, met with President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. Jusuf Kalla was accompanied by his son, Kalla Group CEO Solihin Kalla. Based on information gathered, Jusuf Kalla and Solihin Kalla arrived at the Merdeka Palace on Thursday (11/6/2026) at around 14.30 Western Indonesia Time. Their arrival was welcomed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Teddy then escorted Jusuf Kalla and his son to meet Prabowo. Prabowo, Jusuf Kalla, and Solihin Kalla shook hands before proceeding to the meeting room. Teddy had earlier stated that the meeting was based on a request made by Jusuf Kalla a few days ago. ‘Oh yes, Vice President Jusuf Kalla a few days ago requested time to meet with President Prabowo. He will be accompanied by his son, who is also a businessman,’ Teddy said in his statement on Thursday (11/6/2026). Teddy explained that Prabowo consistently keeps communication channels and good relations open with various national figures, including business actors, as part of efforts to strengthen unity and build collaboration for the nation’s progress.
