MR (21), a resident of Rahayu Village, Margaasih District, Bandung Regency, appears to have no fear of returning to prison for drug offences. Just after being released from a three-year sentence, MR was arrested again by police for the same crime.

MR is a repeat offender in a drug trafficking case apprehended by the Cimahi Police Narcotics Unit. He had only recently been freed after serving a two-year prison sentence for acting as a drug dealer. At the time of his first arrest, the suspect was just 17 years old.

‘This is a case of a juvenile offender who has returned to distributing synthetic tobacco. When he was a minor, he was previously arrested by the Cimahi Police for distributing synthetic drugs,’ said Cimahi Deputy Police Chief Commissioner Zulkarnaen to reporters on Friday (12/6/2026).

MR’s latest arrest began when the Cimahi Police Narcotics Unit received information about the circulation of synthetic tobacco. Following an investigation, police apprehended the suspect at his residence along with evidence.

‘The evidence seized weighed 151.15 grams of synthetic tobacco,’ Zulkarnaen stated.
