June 2026 National Holidays List: Two Public Holidays
The Indonesian government has set the national holidays for June 2026 via a Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) by three ministers. According to the decree, two public holidays fall in June 2026: 1 June and 16 June.
The holiday schedule is based on the official calendar agreed upon by the Ministers of Religion, Manpower, and State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform. Pancasila Day on Monday allows for a long weekend, while the Islamic New Year 1448 Hijriah falls mid-month on Tuesday.
The official SKB 2026 National Holidays and Shared Leave list does not include any shared leave days for June 2026.
The public is advised to take note of this schedule when planning activities or travel. Despite no shared leave days, the two national holidays are intended for commemorating historical and religious occasions.
Public and banking services operations on these dates will follow individual agency policies, typically aligned with central government regulations. Ensure you monitor official announcements regarding work schedule adjustments within your institution. (Menpan.go.id/Z-10)
