June 2026: LCGC Prices Remain Stable Amid Weakening Rupiah
Jakarta – Despite the weakening exchange rate of the rupiah, low-cost green car (LCGC) prices have remained stable as of mid-June 2026. Based on monitoring of price listings on official automotive sales websites, there have been no price increases to date.
Each manufacturer – Honda, Daihatsu, and Toyota – has maintained the same LCGC product prices as those listed in May 2026.
LCGCs remain particularly attractive for first-time vehicle buyers, who typically are transitioning from motorcycles, as well as for consumers in regions not yet focused on electric vehicles. The LCGC segment offers two variant options: five-seater and seven-seater models. Both configurations are available in the twin models from Toyota and Daihatsu – the Agya-Ayla and Calya-Sigra respectively.
