Jumhur Hidayat, Dudung Abdurrahman, and Hasan Nasbi Arrive at Palace Ahead of Cabinet Reshuffle

Jakarta – President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto is reported to conduct a reshuffle of the Merah Putih Cabinet at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday afternoon, 27 April 2026.

Based on observations, several figures have begun gathering at the Presidential Palace complex ahead of the cabinet reshuffle.

Among them are activist and General Chairman of the All-Indonesian Confederation of Workers’ Unions (KSPSI) Moh Jumhur Hidayat, Special Presidential Advisor for National Defence Retired General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, and Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Muhammad Qodari.

Additionally, Minister of Environment (LH) and Head of the Environmental Control Agency Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Hasan Nasbi, and Abdul Kadir Karding.

They arrived at the palace wearing suits with matching blue ties.

Jumhur explained that his arrival at the Presidential Palace was to attend an inauguration invitation.

“Yes, there is an inauguration. I don’t know what inauguration yet,” said Jumhur to reporters at the Presidential Palace complex in Central Jakarta.

Meanwhile, Dudung claimed he was directly called by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya to attend the inauguration at the Presidential Palace at 15:00 WIB.

However, when asked what he would be inaugurated as, Dudung declined to reveal.

“Well, we’ll see what for later,” explained Dudung.

Previously, it was reported that President Prabowo Subianto would conduct a reshuffle of several ministers in the Merah Putih Cabinet on Monday, 27 April 2026. The Head of State is said to inaugurate several officials, from agency heads, ministers, and coordinating ministers (menko) in stages starting today.

Meanwhile, names of several figures trusted by Prabowo to fill important positions are circulating. Based on information, Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) M Qodari is reported to shift to become head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) of the Republic of Indonesia as well as presidential spokesperson.

Qodari’s position at KSP is said to be filled by former Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) Retired General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, who currently serves as special presidential advisor for national defence.

Furthermore, former Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi is reported to be inaugurated by Prabowo as presidential special affairs for communications. Former Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding is also reported to return to the cabinet as Head of the National Quarantine Agency.
