Judicial Commission Chair Visits KPK to Follow Up on Ethics Enforcement Against Depok Court Judges
Judicial Commission (KY) Chair Abdul Chair Ramadhan visited the KPK headquarters to follow up on ethics enforcement against judges at the Depok District Court (PN Depok) who have been named as bribery suspects.
“This is a courtesy visit and also relates to following up on the sting operation against judges at PN Depok, as part of enforcing the code of ethics and judicial conduct guidelines by the KY,” Abdul said upon arriving at the KPK building in South Jakarta on Thursday (19 February 2026).
He affirmed that the KY is committed to supporting law enforcement against corrupt judges, stating there is zero tolerance for judges who violate the rules.
“Zero tolerance — zero tolerance means nothing other than the most severe enforcement possible,” he said.
The KPK has named five suspects in connection with the alleged bribery case. The following are the identities of the suspects:
- I Wayan Eka Mariarta (EKA), Chief of the Depok District Court;
- Bambang Setyawan (BBG), Deputy Chief of the Depok District Court;
- Yohansyah Maruanaya (YOH), Bailiff at the Depok District Court;
- Trisnadi Yulrisman (TRI), President Director of PT KD;
- Berliana Tri Ikusuma (BER), Head of Corporate Legal at PT KD.
Eka and Bambang allegedly demanded a fee of one billion rupiah for the handling of a court case. In addition to the bribery allegations, Bambang has also been named a suspect in a separate gratification case. He is alleged to have received gratification sourced from deposits related to foreign currency exchange worth 2.5 billion rupiah from PT DMV during the 2025–2026 period.
