Karawang – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol has stated that the number of toll booths servicing transactions at Gerbang Tol Cikampek Utama is being optimised in accordance with traffic volume in order to maintain smooth transaction processing at the toll gate.

Ria Marlinda Paallo, Corporate Secretary and Legal Officer of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), stated in Karawang, West Java on Saturday that the current number of operational toll booths servicing transactions at Gerbang Tol (GT) Cikampek Utama is 30 booths.

The operating booths consist of 19 transaction booths serving the Trans Jawa direction and 11 booths serving the Jakarta direction.

“The operation of these booths is optimised situationally in accordance with the traffic volume occurring in order to maintain smooth vehicle transaction processing at the toll gate,” she said.

PT JTT recorded a total of 108,140 vehicles passing through the Gerbang Tol Cikampek Utama heading eastwards during the period of 11–13 March 2026. This represented a 24.17 per cent increase compared with normal traffic levels of 87,087 vehicles.

Ria stated that despite the increase in traffic volume, no traffic engineering measures have been implemented on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road to date, as conditions at GT Cikampek Utama remain monitored as safe and controlled.

Meanwhile, during this year’s Ramadan exodus season, Jasa Marga Group has implemented a toll tariff discount programme across several Trans Jawa sections to provide more economical travel for road users.

One such measure involves a 30 per cent tariff discount for road users making continuous journeys from GT Cikampek Utama to GT Kalikangkung during the exodus period of 15–16 March 2026.

Specifically on the Batang–Semarang section managed by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), road users also receive an additional tariff discount, bringing the total toll tariff discount received to approximately 46 per cent.

Additionally, JSB has already implemented a toll tariff discount of approximately 23 per cent for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang section, effective from 12 March through 31 March 2026.

PT JTT has urged Trans Jawa toll road users to prioritise safety and ensure that their vehicles and drivers are in optimal condition.
