JTT Temporarily Closes Rest Area at KM 52B on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Ensure Smooth Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 Return Flow

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is carrying out a temporary full closure of the Rest Area at KM 52B on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta on Tuesday, 24 March 2026. This policy is being implemented to support the smooth flow of traffic and to anticipate vehicle density entering the rest area during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 return period.

The temporary closure of the Rest Area at KM 52B is being carried out situationally based on on-site traffic conditions. Jasamarga is also coordinating with the Police to maintain the safety and smooth travel of road users on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this step is part of traffic management efforts to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles on the main toll lane.

“The temporary closure of the Rest Area at KM 52B is being carried out to reduce the potential for vehicle queues entering and exiting the rest area, which could impact the smooth flow of traffic on the main lane. JTT, together with the Police, continues to monitor traffic conditions periodically and will make situational adjustments to the arrangements,” said Ria, quoted from a press release received on Tuesday (24/3).

JTT, continued Ria, urges all Trans Java toll road users to plan their journeys well and to utilise other available rest areas along the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section. Road users are also expected to ensure the condition of their vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, maintain a safe distance, and follow the instructions of on-site officers and applicable traffic signs.

JTT also apologises for any inconvenience arising from the temporary closure of the rest area.
