PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is carrying out preventive maintenance on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from Friday (8/5) to Wednesday (13/5), as an effort to maintain infrastructure quality and ensure safe and comfortable journeys.

Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Amri Sanusi, stated in Karawang, West Java, on Saturday, that the toll road maintenance activities are conducted periodically, given that the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is one of the routes with high vehicle mobility in the Trans Java Toll Road network.

“The maintenance activities on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road consist of road surface reconstruction,” he said.

It was mentioned that the road surface reconstruction maintenance is being carried out at two locations: the Off Ramp Cikarang Utara on the B lane towards Jakarta at lane 1 and the outer shoulder, from Friday (08/05) at 22:00 WIB to Wednesday (13/05) at 12:00 WIB.

Additionally, it is being carried out from KM 35+082 to KM 34+977 on the B lane towards Jakarta at the outer shoulder, from Sunday (10/05) at 22:00 WIB to Wednesday (13/05) at 05:00 WIB.

He stated that during the work period, situational traffic arrangements will be implemented to ensure the safety of road users and maintain smooth traffic flow.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, said that this maintenance activity is part of the company’s commitment to maintaining optimal toll road service standards amid high daily traffic intensity.

“This routine maintenance is a consistent preventive step taken by JTT to keep the toll road quality reliable and comfortable for road users. We want to ensure that the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road segment continues to support public mobility in a safe, smooth, and sustainable manner,” she said.

She added that during the work, JTT prioritises traffic smoothness by preparing flow management schemes and ensuring that the work area is equipped with occupational safety devices in accordance with operational standards.

Information about the work is also disseminated through Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), official social media, and advisory banners around the work location.

“We also extend our apologies for any potential inconvenience during the work period,” she said.

JTT advises road users to anticipate travel times, ensure vehicles are in prime condition, maintain safe driving distances, and comply with signs and instructions from on-site officers.
