former president Soeharto. Hospital Spokeswoman Tuti Dwi
Patmayanti said Wednesday that Soeharto's condition has
stabilized but he was still very weak.

JUSTICE IN THE USA: Princess Buniah al-Saud (right), a 41-year-
old niece of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, is escorted by Orange
County Corrections Officer Linda Kotch to appear before Orange
County Judge Janis Halker. The princess was arrested Monday for
felony aggravated battery charges punishable by 15 years in
prison for allegedly beating her Indonesian maid Memet Ismayati.
She was freed on US$2,500 bail Tuesday and ordered to surrender
her passport.
