POLICE GET-TOGETHER: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono,
accompanied by National Police chief Gen. Da'i Bachtiar (second
right), visits a stand at the ASEANPOL expo in Bali. The
President opened the 25th ASEANPOL conference on Thursday. The
event will last through May 20, and is being attended by about
250 participants from 10 ASEAN countries, and 10 other countries
as observers.

HAPPENING ART: Activists of the Yappika non-governmental
organization, which focuses on assisting and researching Aceh
society, stage a session of "happening art" during the ongoing
"DPR Civic Info Fair". The three-day fair at the House of
Representatives, which ended on Wednesday, featured displays
highlighting the work carried out in Aceh by international and
local organizations. Discussions were also held, including one on
public health services on Wednesday that featured the UN
Population Fund (UNFPA).
