Explosion at Makassar meeting: An explosion, believed to be from
a bomb disguised as a meal package, burst at the dining hall of
the Muslim Congress in Makassar, South Sulawesi, wounding three
people on Sunday night. Organizers said the explosion originated
from one of the donated meal packages. Some 2,300 people are
taking part in the congress to discuss the implementation of
syariah (Islamic law). -- JP
