Journalist Missing, Governor Andra: Sunda Strait Monitoring Continues

No matter how small the information we obtain, we will immediately convey it to the families.

Tangerang (ANTARA) - Banten Governor Andra Soni has ensured that monitoring in the waters of the Sunda Strait will continue so that the families of those who lost contact with the Arupadhatu I vessel always receive accurate and timely information updates.

“No matter how small the information we obtain, we will immediately convey it to the families,” Governor Andra stated in his remarks in Pandeglang on Friday.

Governor Andra expressed that his presence among the family members is a form of the Banten Provincial Government’s commitment to continue providing assistance until the search yields results.

The cessation of active searching does not mean that hope and communication have been severed. His office promised to oversee every development in the field and maintain intensive communication with various parties.

He also ensured that the Banten Provincial Government will be proactive in forwarding every information development from the SAR (Search and Rescue) Team and relevant authorities. This is being done so that the victims’ families always receive accurate and timely information updates.

“Monitoring is still being conducted, and we will continue to coordinate with the SAR Team,” said Banten Governor Andra Soni.
