JORR and Inner-City Toll Roads Congested Friday Afternoon: Key Traffic Jam Points
Several toll roads in Jakarta and its surroundings experienced traffic congestion on Friday (29 May 2026) afternoon. Traffic jams occurred on the Inner City Toll Road and Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) due to high vehicle volumes and vehicle breakdowns at several points. According to PT Jasa Marga’s official X account, congestion was observed on the Inner City Toll Road towards Kebon Jeruk. “18:00 WIB #Tol_DalamKota Semanggi KM 07 to Senayan KM 08+800 congested due to high traffic volume. Slipi KM 11 to Tomang KM 13 congested towards Kebon Jeruk,” said PT Jasa Marga on Friday. In addition to congestion, drivers are advised to exercise caution around Senayan KM 08+800 towards Tomang due to an additional toll lane entrance at Senayan GT in the left lane. Congestion also occurred on the JORR section towards Bekasi via the lower lane. The traffic jam was caused by handling of a container vehicle with engine trouble in the left diversion lane. “18:00 WIB #Tol_JORR_E Jatiasih to Cikunir congested, Bekasi Lower Lane traffic jam due to handling of a container vehicle with engine trouble in the left diversion lane,” PT Jasa Marga added. Similar conditions were reported on the Kalimalang to Cikunir section, while the Ciledug to Ulujami stretch experienced congestion due to high vehicle volumes. The incident occurred beneath the Fedek Overpass in the left lane and is ongoing from 28 May to 3 June 2026. Drivers are advised to use the right lane and exercise caution when passing through.
