PT Jorindo Agung is preparing to expand its business into the green energy sector, amidst a development direction that increasingly focuses on sustainability aspects. The company, which has been operating for more than three decades, has previously focused heavily on projects related to international institutions.

President Director of PT Jorindo Agung, Jose Rizal, stated that the green energy sector is one of the key areas the company intends to develop in the future. This expansion is also directed towards generating long-term value for society.

“I hope we can leave a legacy of responsible leadership, innovation, and a commitment to creating long-term value for the community,” Jose said in a statement on Wednesday (16/09/2026).

Jose noted that business development must be supported by several principles the company has implemented throughout its operations, ranging from clarity of purpose, integrity, and learning from experience to empowerment and the courage to make business decisions.

According to him, business sustainability is not merely about achieving profits, but about how a company creates value for its stakeholders.

“Lastly, every business must be able to create value for its stakeholders. No company can survive if it only thinks about its own profits,” he remarked.

Managing Director of PT Jorindo Agung, Ana Mustamin, mentioned that the company’s track record has largely involved executing projects for international institutions. This factor was one of the considerations for Business Frontier in presenting an award to Jose.

Jose received the Iconic Business Infrastructure and Contractor award at the Business Frontier Leadership Conclave and Award 2026 in Dubai on Friday (04/09/2026). According to Ana, the award was granted after Business Frontier assessed the track record of both Jose and Jorindo Agung.

Jose believes that business sustainability requires the ability to face various changes and setbacks. This principle, according to him, has been a guiding principle in running the business for over three decades.

“That is, never stop; you must keep moving. Whatever the circumstances, if we continue to move forward, sooner or later there will be results. Long-term leadership is built not just from setbacks, but about refusing to be limited by those setbacks themselves,” he emphasised.

Moving forward, Jorindo Agung will direct its business development towards green energy projects. Jose hopes that this expansion can support sustainable development while serving as part of the company’s legacy in implementing leadership and innovation.
