The seventh Indonesian President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), is set to resume his blusukan tours and meet with communities once his health has fully recovered. The Solidarity Party (PSI) will accompany these visits, according to PSI Political Affairs Chief Bestari Barus, who revealed that the initial destinations will be East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Lampung, and West Java.

“He has already stated that the first areas to be visited are Lampung, NTT, and West Java,” Bestari said when contacted on Tuesday (26 May).

He also mentioned that Jokowi will visit PSI regional offices. “There are numerous invitations from community leaders, organisations, and volunteers across Indonesia,” Bestari added.

According to Projo Secretary-General Alex Freddy Damanik, Jokowi plans to visit NTT in June to inspect seaweed farming and meet locals. Freddy noted that although Jokowi no longer holds an official position, he retains social capital and close ties with the public, which he will use to support President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming’s administration.

“Jokowi is set to visit NTT to inspect seaweed farming and meet the local community,” Freddy said when confirmed on Monday (18 May).

Meanwhile, PSI West Java Provincial Chair Abang Ijo Hapidin stated that Jokowi is scheduled to visit Cirebon on 4 or 5 July 2026.

“He is now healthy and ready for the West Java visit,” Abang Ijo said, quoted by DetikJateng during a visit to Jokowi’s residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, on Tuesday (26 May).

Jokowi previously confirmed his health has improved and he is ready to meet people in the regions. He further stated his health has fully recovered and that future visits will focus on engaging and motivating communities.

“I have received numerous invitations from various regions to meet the public. I am now healthy and will attend these invitations,” Jokowi said in Solo, according to DetikJateng on Tuesday (26 May).
