Jokowi visits earthquake survivors on Palue Island, NTT

The seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, was enthusiastically welcomed by residents during his visit to Cawalo Hamlet, Rokirole Village, Palue District, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, on Wednesday (16/9).

During his visit, Joko Widodo engaged in direct dialogue with residents affected by the earthquake and stayed overnight at the evacuation site. He also inspected various damages to infrastructure and buildings caused by the earthquake and symbolically presented aid to the community.
