Jokowi Visits Earthquake Survivors on Palue Island, NTT

Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo, conversed with residents in Cawalo Hamlet, Rokirole Village, Palue District, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, on Wednesday (16/09/2026). In addition to delivering aid, Jokowi visited those affected by the earthquake that occurred on 15 August 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity for Jokowi to meet directly with the people of Palue Island, who had been isolated following the earthquake. His presence among the community is expected to provide support and strengthen the residents as they undergo the post-disaster recovery process.
