Jokowi to Tour Lampung for Three Days: Here's the Schedule and Locations

Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will commence a political safari visit to the Lampung region at the end of June 2026. The safari is organised by the Brigade Rakyat Nusantara (BRN) volunteers and the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). BRN Chairman Relly Reagen confirmed that all permits have been fully secured. “Preparations are mature, location permits are ready. It’s about 80 percent complete,” he stated after meeting Jokowi at his residence in Sumber, Solo, Central Java, on Monday (15/6). He explained that Jokowi is scheduled to arrive in Lampung on 26 June 2026. Subsequently, Jokowi will visit several regencies and cities in Lampung Province until 28 June 2026. “To Bandar Lampung, Central Lampung, after that East Lampung and Pringsewu,” he clarified. During his three-day visit to Lampung, Relly said Jokowi will meet residents and community figures of Lampung. “There are MSME actors, Islamic boarding schools, young people, farmers, and others,” he noted. He claimed that many Lampung residents have felt the impact of development during Jokowi’s presidency. Therefore, they wish to meet directly the father of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka even though he is no longer in office. “So the invitation is from the community, from community leaders. We merely conveyed it to him,” he explained.
