The 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), has claimed that the provincial-level management (DPW) of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) is now 100% formed across Indonesia. He stated that having a party structure that extends down to the RT/RW (neighbourhood/community) level serves as the fundamental capital for achieving a major victory in the 202<0xA0>9 General Election.

These remarks were made by Jokowi while attending the PSI Kupang City Regional Coordination Meeting on Saturday (1/8). “I have just received a report regarding the PSI structure throughout the Indonesian archipelago; Alhamdulillah, Praise God, the DPW is already 100 per cent,” said Jokowi.

Jokowi, who is the father of PSI Chairperson Kaesang Pangarep, mentioned that district/city-level management (DPD) is 97% formed, while sub-district level management has reached 84%. “In reality, the district/city level is already at one hundred per cent, but because there are still ongoing issues between chairpersons and their rivals, there is a remaining 3 per cent, though it is essentially resolved,” he added.

Jokowi believes that by the end of 2026, the entire management structure, from the provincial level to the smallest RT and RW units, will be fully established. He noted that currently, the RT/RW level is only 28% formed. According to Jokowi, with a complete management structure, PSI will possess a massive party engine to win the upcoming 2029 Election. “Because from here (the neighbourhood level), we will have what is known as a large engine, an engine with high CC, and with this engine, we will head towards a great victory in 2029,” he said.

Furthermore, Jokowi reminded the party that the current PSI organisational structure must be functional to ensure maximum productivity. He urged officials, cadres, and sympathisers to work on introducing themselves to the Indonesian public. He also emphasised that all members must remain present to assist the community and provide a direct impact on society.

Jokowi is in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, for three days from 31 July to 2 August 2026. During his visit to Kupang City, Jokowi participated in various activities, including meeting seaweed fishermen at Oesina Beach, Kupang Regency, attending the PSI Kupang City Regional Coordination Meeting, joining a leisure walk during Car Free Day (CFD), and attending a cultural carnival.
