Jokowi Set to Tour Indonesia: Lampung Visit Scheduled for Friday Morning

Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has stated that he will begin a tour of Indonesia this week. Jokowi plans to depart for Lampung on Friday morning. He made the statement when asked by journalists about his travel plans, confirming he would leave the following morning. ‘To Lampung tomorrow morning, want to come?’ Jokowi said when met at his residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo. Upon arriving at his home, Jokowi greeted residents who were queuing and invited them to take photographs. ‘Everyone will come in later, yes,’ he said. Previously, Jokowi had hinted at his agenda to tour Indonesia this week while greeting residents from Lampung who were queuing for photos at his house. When he asked where they were from and they replied ‘Lampung,’ Jokowi told them he would be visiting Lampung on Friday and assured them they would all be allowed inside. He later reiterated that he would be going to Central Lampung on Friday.
