Jokowi Kicks Off Lampung Visit, Set to Attend PSI Regional Coordination Meeting

Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo, popularly known as Jokowi, departed from Solo for Lampung on Friday (26/6) to attend a Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in Mesuji. DPP PSI Chairman Bestari Barus confirmed the visit, stating that party cadres would welcome Jokowi at the airport. Bestari also shared a photo of Jokowi wearing PSI-branded attire and a cap, remarking, ‘Pak Jokowi’s outfit is super cool. We are waiting for his arrival.’ During his three-day visit, Jokowi is scheduled to attend various PSI events and meet with volunteers and local communities. His agenda for the day also includes a PSI Rakorda in Tulang Bawang and a cultural carnival parade. On Saturday (27/6), he is expected to meet with Lampung traditional leaders and visit the Transmigration Museum and Bagelen Village. He will also tour MSMEs in Maliosewu and attend a volunteer gathering. The visit concludes on Sunday (28/6) with a cultural parade, another MSME visit, and a trip to the Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School.
