Jokowi, JK, Boediono, Ma'ruf Amin Attend 2026 Annual Session

Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) attended the 2026 MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD at the MPR/DPR/DPD Building in Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday.

Also present were former Vice Presidents Jusuf Kalla, Boediono, and Ma’ruf Amin.

The three arrived in turn alongside other invited guests, including ministers of the Red and White Cabinet and leaders of other state institutions.

On Friday, the MPR, DPR, and DPD held the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD.

One of the agenda items was President Prabowo Subianto’s address on the performance report of state institutions and the State Address of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.

In addition to the address, the government also screened a video of its performance achievements.

This annual session is a state agenda to welcome the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, which carries the theme ‘A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia’.
