Jokowi Announces Visit to Lampung as Part of Post-Recovery National Tour

Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is set to embark on a nationwide tour this week, with Lampung province among his first destinations. Jokowi made the announcement while greeting a group of residents from Lampung at his residence in Solo. “Next Friday I’m going to Lampung, you’ll all be included, you’ll be included,” Jokowi told the crowd. He later specified that he would be visiting Central Lampung. The former president had previously stated he would begin a tour of Indonesia once his health had fully recovered, mentioning Lampung, West Java, and East Nusa Tenggara as initial destinations.
